The red key is more important than the card. The card gives you a code to override the immobiliser (I think). The red key is required to make duplicate keys work with the ecu and dash. |

The 2006 has the electric headlight adjustment--a feature I use a lot since I ride 2-up about 50% of the time. It is a PITA to adjust the headlight on 2007s and 2008s--I cannot forgive Ducati for get ... |

I'm 5'8" too with a 30" inseam and my stock height 1000S is just fine. I cannot flat foot both feet at a stop--but who cares? I never understood why some people feel this is a necessity. ... |

I would steer way clear of a Multistrad lowered 2 inches unless you need it that low because of a very short inseam--like under 27 or 28 inches--which you are not. One of the beauties of these bikes ... |

I think buying a Multistrada as a beginner bike is a huge mistake. Part of learning to ride is having a good chance of dropping a bike at a stop sign, wheeling it out of the garage, just sitting stil ... |
