I forgot to say I'm 6 ft 5 and the comfort screen is all that I need to keep the wind buffeting down on the MTS

MTS1000 or DL1000 Suzuki   Posted: Sat Sep 23, 2006 5:17 pm
I've had an MTS for 3 years - a great bike and really flexible - no problem with passenger comfort or solo riding - maintenance can get pricey at Ducati dealers - but I recently bought a new Aprilia C ...

New ducatist ... or not?   Posted: Wed Aug 30, 2006 1:37 pm
I've had my MTS for 3 years, done nearly 12000 miles and it has mainly been very reliable. The paint on the engine casing is flaking off (I ride in all weathers and I don't clean it often enoough!)

I can echo what has already been said.

I had both a BMW 1150 GS and a Yamaha Yhundercat (at the same time) before I went to the MTS. I sold the GS to pay for the MTS but I then found the T'cat was ...

buying ex-demo   Posted: Wed Apr 28, 2004 5:51 am
One of the problems with a demo Multistrada is the very fact that the bike just begs to be ridden - It takes no time to get used to the position and it is very easy to thrash on the demo ride - I did ...

Wind blast !?!   Posted: Wed Mar 24, 2004 3:34 pm
The comfort screen is just fine for me - I'm 6 ' 5" and have always used it from new. It allows cruising over 80 as long as you like - I don't get any buffeting to speak of.

I can't seem to get round to ride my other bike - The Multi does it all and it is so easy to ride - Even if the conditions aren't perfect - rain, etc

When we test rode the MTS - I didn't even notice my wife on the back - and she tells me it's much better than the BMW GS we had before - for her at any rate.
I also tend to sit at the back of the sea ...
