My vote is get the low mileage bike. Ride it hard, budget 1,800USD for the valve guide replacement in 3 years, then you can monitor the work IF needed. |

Keep in mind at 4,000 miles you have plenty of fun riding to do before the valve thing needs addressing. <maybe 2 years to get yer ducs in a row before it may or may not need work.

"H-D sport-touring" is an oxymoron. There is nothing sporty about H-D touring bikes.
If your demo ride didn't 'rock your world'. this is the wrong place for opinions.
