I am riding a Honda Interceptor right now, and the thing just keeps on running with routine maintenance. I have been considering a MTS 1000 for awhile now, but I am scared of the reports of breakdown ...

the two bikes are different in design and purpose. Best thing for you will be to find a Duc dealer and test a Multi.

I traded in my year and a half old multi 1000 last week (with 6 months to go on the warranty) and got a shocking quote of 8500 euros (the bike was bought new for 12900)... that's a loss of almost 33% ...
