Greetings all high mileage Posted: Thu Feb 25, 2010 8:17 pm |
Mine is at 34000, commuting in all weathers.
10000 miles in the first year, less since then. No problems, except losing some engine paint, but they all do that. Just as quick now as when new. |

Anyone go from a Monster to Multi? (or have both?) Posted: Tue Aug 04, 2009 3:01 pm |
I recently had an S4r for a bit. Didn't like it at all. Very fast & great handling, but I didn't look forward to riding it, so it had to go.

Sealey is ok quality. I agree with your concerns about an alloy socket, and can see no advantages in it. The weight saving hardly matters when it sits in your tookbox.

Need Honest Opinion on a Trade Posted: Sun Mar 15, 2009 11:47 am |
I wouldn't swap for a bike 3 years older. However the MTS is still a brilliant bike, so I'd consider getting a newer one or getting a cash adjustment on the deal. |

South coast (ish) dealer to avoid Posted: Mon Jan 05, 2009 4:00 pm |
Avoid Alan Lear Motorcycles in Winchester.
A few weeks ago I bought an ST2 as a winter runabout. The previous owner took it there for a new clutch a week before I bought the bike. 300 miles after I ... |

Kurt,
I think I've got a brand new one at home (can't remember whether its brake or clutch side), I'll check tonight - you can have it for 2/3 of the retail price if you want.

Mines got 23000 miles on it, and after a couple thorough services its fitter than when I bought it at 1000 miles.
Look after it and it'll be fine |
