Hi everybody!
I have joined as I am looking for a little advice before purchasing a Multistrada.
I have around £3.5K budget and am looking for something that is for 2up European/Morocco touring this summer.
I am coming from a '98 VFR but fancy something with a slightly bigger engine (that isn't a GS).
I have seen a possible bike; 54 plate, 1000DS, 10K miles, trade price is £3500 with panniers, termi exhausts and service history and belts done last year.
Does this price sound reasonable (I would look to pay around £3.2K)?
Any advice gratefully received...
All the best

Tok78 What year are you looking at? If my math is right 3.2k # = about $4800.Check on EBAY for a price . With the new 1200 MTS comming out. As I see it, if the new one is a big hit[which it probably will be] on 'old' MTS "air cooled" the used price will go down. If, on the otherhand, the 1200 is a flop[HOPE NOT] the 'old' MTS will hold their value. But, if you do what the rest of us have done and buy one because you like it and the hell with the future value you will find the 'grin factor' on a 'strada to be huge. She will haul 2up with no trouble and run fast enough to get you in trouble with any cop. kw |
