Looking to buy a 2007 multi but it not a s but has 7000 mile on it . Can you buy shocks for this bike and maybe race tech up front or do I keep looking for a s |

Sure, you can buy aftermarket goodies for the MTS. I'm pretty sure that Penske makes a shock that fits and you can obviously buy an Ohlins to fit too. Fork upgrades are out there too if you look around. I would ride the bike first though to see if you think it is necessary. I have 30k miles on my 05 on the stock, non-S suspension and don't have any complaints. |

My first MTS was an '04. My second is an '07 1100S. Honestly, I can't tell a huge difference to the Ohlins suspension on the '07. Both rear shocks are adjustable. The front Ohlins rebounds a bit quicker, but the bikes both handled pretty much the same. |

I had an '04, I liked the Showa's...a little harsher ride, but I liked the feel.
You can always rebuild the Showa's to your liking.
Not really an issue. |
