Cant resolve an ongoing start issue.

No spark on vertical cylinder during start up.
If the engine does catch then it runs well.
Had 2 new ecu's
Crank sensor changed.
Coils , plugs and leads changed.

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs but............ no mention of battery check? also check ground on front of engine for corrosion. some of us use 2 grounds, gets the amps to the starter more cleanly.

You mention changing pretty much everything to do with ignition, so not many options left. Think if wiring problem, then why does she run sweet on 2 after starting.

A very slightly, and I mean slightly, low battery on these big twins will cause weak or no spark, furthest from coils 1st i.e. vertical. All starting effort is put into turning engine at the expense of sparking up the plugs.

Many others on here will have experienced this, some refuse to believe, saying their battery turns the engine fine and shows 12.5 volts. Then they try a known good battery.

You may have done the above already. If so pls ignore my ramblings.

Yes, battery and earth (-) is just as important as (+)

It has to have a complete circuit to work.
