Cupertino, CA - October 17, 2005 - As part of Ducati's on-going dedication to
the Ducatisti, the company today announces a free service promotion on all new
2004 and 2005 model Monster S4R, Multistrada 1000*, and 999* motorcycles. Now

years**. This is in addition to Ducati's class leading 2-year warranty, which is
standard on all Ducati street motorcycles.
The Dolce Vita program applies to new motorcycles purchased between October 1st,

months or 6,000 miles (10,000 km) whichever occurs first. This campaign includes

Why offer free servicing for 2 years and limit it to 6000 miles when the bikes have to enjoy a 6000 mile service EVERY YEAR!!!!!!!!
If you want to stay within warranty then you'd HAVE to get a 6000 mile service when the bike is a year old, making the "second" free year WORTHLESS! |

and they exclude the 'S' model Multi as well...why??? Do 'S' model riders ride differently? Is there more involved in an 'S' model service?

I think it's simply a sales incentive for models they have too many of in inventory. No different than auto manufacturers not offering incentives on the hot sellers. |
