I am considering a 2006 620 as my first Multistrada, it has 44k miles on it with full service history and is around the £1800 mark. Can anybody tell me what I need to look out for and what questions I should ask the dealer.

Thanks

You want to know how recent the major service was done and how old the tyres are
Have a good look for evidence of scrapes, corrosion, ill fitting tank to side plastics and rear plastics lifting at rearmost point - indicating tank swelling from E10 type fuels.

1800# sounds like premium to me, but UK members may want to chime in.
I think you wouldn't want to spend much on it after purchase.

Good luck.

hi,

2006 version might have leaking fule tank if it have been at RECALL service.
Versions before 2007 can have too short side stand can be grounded.
Fuel tank can deform if ethanol based fuel used that help's water to eneter between nylon molecyles.

If intrested to buy black, MTS-620 ( 2007 ), 5000eur kindly contact!

At that age bike break lines should been replaced recently, rubber part's
start to wear out, most bearings should had been allready replaced,...
and if not you will get supprises and intresting traveling !

Do not ask dealer but look by your self, ask service documentation,
do not care is the bike serviced at shop or by owner. What makes diffrence is
that someone has tried to keep bike in condition. Both shops and owners can be
good or bad, or have luck or not to regonize problems.
