| Looking for an 03 multi. Is it just as good as later models, or is the 04 and later the same bike? Also are the Ohlins worth the extra money? |

The later bikes had improvements, 05 and later.
I believe the 03 and 04 are the same. Some of the early bikes had some case finish problems I understand. The seats, mirrors and sidestand are much better with the 05 bikes. The sidestand and mirror are available fora warranty upgrade with most dealers (so I hear).
I bought the 'S'. I think the Ohlins are worth it. They are incredibly compliant.
