Gods bless Ducati for building the Multistrada, one of the most forward-thinking motorcycles ever.

But it is a shame that they can't seem to build a problem-free motorcycle even when they try to.

So new blessings to Kawasaki (surprised, i was!) for blatantly copying the Multi 620 with the new Versys 650. Now we can have all of the fun and practicality of the Multi without the problems.

Shame Kawasaki can't put some decent suspension on the bike, though...

I've had virtually no problems in 13K miles on my 620. I get it serviced at the recommended intervals, replace the consumables as needed, and fill the tank with gas. No problems...... Very Happy

That's the funniest thing I've read on this board, though I am a relatively new member...

My best advice to you would be to buy the Kawasaki.

Now now, there's no need for name calling. Multistrada.net in my experience has always been respectful, and most of all helpful. Perhaps we can best help our new new member by giving him access to a venue best suited to his expressed interests:

I have put almost 30,000 miles on two multi's...

The '04 had a couple quirks, but no major problems...

The '06 s is pure joy.

The Kaws been out in Canada for a year now. Seems popular enough. Riders seem to enjoy them -- that's all that's important,I guess. Biggest difference is the Kaw will get you home and the Ducati will get you laid. ( commited to a relationship,just an observation )I've got over 20,000 kms on my 1000 and have had NO problems.

S .

Name any problems with the multi 620 ???
Does the figure zero come to mind???
Remember this proverb;
It is wiser to remain silent and appear stupid
than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt.
