I took a Multistrada 620 out for a test ride a couple of weeks ago. I was impressed enough that I've been looking around for a "deal," mainly on Ebay.

First one up for bidding was a Dark: no bids ($5800 start, $6300 buy it now). A few days later that bike was relisted (1 bid at $5100 or so and didn't hit reserve).

Next one on Ebay, also a Dark, high bid $4425, didn't hit reserve.

Is the market extremely soft for these bikes or is this just transient weirdness?

Watch out for "deals" on EBay, they've been experiencing a lot of motorcycle scams lately. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. All of those prices seem too cheap to me.

You should be able to get a brand new one for about $7-7.5k right now. I think good used ones are in the $5.5-6K range. Can anyone confirm?

Most low mileage used are going $6K+ and new $7K+.

Agree that if you're buying off ebay be careful, find someone with lots of good feedback.

or find one from here but still make sure its someone that been on the site for a while.

Wiring $$$$ money or even 3rd party is a no-go for me. I like to show up with money in hand.

The last one on Ebay, with a high bid of $4425 (didn't hit reserve) was offered by a dealer, so I would think potential buyers would have been attracted by that.

May be a temporary situation, but the lack of interested buyers and bids seems curious.

Also, prices on eBay may be cheaper because the auction price does not include tax, title, license, and delivery.

Keeping prices low on eBay (from a reliable source) ensures a sale, but you can't negotiate it any more than you would trying to get a bike OTD in a dealership.

Rich, are you still in the market for a 620, if so mine is for sale. 600 miles and service is done. A few extras are included. I am in Texas so not too far, $6k, bike is near perfect. Thanks Richard 214-850-6152.
