Had a client drop off a Multi today. The first Multi that's I've ever ridden. I can't believe this thing is so tall. I only have a 30" inseam and was on my toes. It's already bad enough to be on my toes on the 900SS, but this thing is huge... I was scared of tippng it over. had to have on my taller guys pull it into the garage.
All you Multi guys must be giants.... 5'7"

When I put a ohlins suspension in rear, I adjusted the height about 1 inch higher.
But I'm only 5'10" |

Bike that fits me like no other-BMW1150GS Adventure 35.4"seat height, but it's just too heavy
Bike that I must buy-Multistrada-fits almost as well and more maneuverable
6'4" 220LBS 36" inseam-Hung like Horse Strong like Bull |

5'7" and a 30" inseam and it's fine - yes, I'd prefer an inch lower - but never had an issue with it - you'll get used to it and once it's moving and your feet are on the pegs you'll forget it's "too tall" for you -

6'-4" 230#... Not huge, but big enough that there are few bikes that are actually comfortable. The MTS was, hands down, the most comfortable unless I were willing to pose aboard a Hardley... I'll have to look into that Ohlins rear, another inch would be nice.
It's cute watching my little 5'-7" wife try to climb aboard. |

YES SIR!!! ALL MTS Owneras are enormous! They can all jump rivers, hop valleys and did I mention that we are all MODELS?
No seriously, the MTS is a little bit high, but once you start moving you realize how perfect the weight distribution is and how nimble in traffic she can be.

I am 5'-8" and I could only get my tootsies on the ground when I got my Multi, set at lowest possible ride height. No trouble riding it solo but I couldn't get my heels down to hold it steady while a pillion was getting on.
Solved the problem by buying a pair of Johnny Reb boots with about 2" heels.
Now all is sweet.

Funny, I always forget about the height of the bike the instant I'm rolling. The trick is not to get stuck at stop lights. Who wants to stop anyway, right? |

Thats funny this post was about the height of the MTS. I have thought about going to the Ducati so I can finally put both feet on the ground. The KTM is tall you need to be over 6ft to touch flat footed.
At 5'10" the MTS-S fits like a glove. |

I had a hard time deciding between the 950 Adventure & the Multi, I bought the Multi and it was the absolute right choice. But I'm fairly sure I am also going to get a KTM when I see the right deal. I'd love to start heading up over the mountains on one of those..
Do you have the "S" 950? That thing is gigantic....really fun. |

1 of the reasons i love my multi is i am 6'3 300lbs get called a big dude all the time and on 95% of all bikes i rode i feel like i am to big for the bike that always made me feel if i want to feel like i fit i would have to stick to full dressed touring bikes but then come the multistrada and my life was saved ok maybe not my life but u get the point |

haha, when we went to the BMW/Moto Guzzi/Ducati dealer, the Multistrada was the only bike in the room I fit on. I'm 6'5" and sitting on the bike or stadleing the bike, my feet are Flat on the ground, knee's bent slightly. Riding I have my tailbone up against the passenger seat, and its even more comfortable if I remove that seat so I can sit an inch back father. |
