Tell me why I should not trade in my 2003 Capo (Leo Vince exhaust, 16 tooth pinion, Touratech chain guard, center stand, mini rear blinkers,Alpine Red) for a 2005 Ducati Multistrada S DS? The Capo's look is so ''heavy'' compared with the MTS, and the large dash is definetely outdated. De MTS has a beautiful single sided rear fork, Öhlins front fork and rear damper and even a decent seat now. The power of the 2005 air-cooled (love that, less complicated = less to worry about) engine is also now up to that of the Capo and the MTS wheights less. Seating position is a bit more sporty than that of the Capo, but I love that minimalistic dash and the turning tophalf. Also I believe the MTSD will hold its value much better than the Capo, I was shocked what my Capo was worth after two years only... On the other hand there is no bike that offers the same comfort and stabilty as a well set-up Capo. It never gave me any problems, even with regular high-speed (180 km +) long distance travels through Germany, France and Italy. (Wonder if the Duc's engine can cope with that!). The R 1200 GS is of course no option, almost all Germans and half of Europe is riding it...

you should wonder and worry only if you can cope with that, the DS engine certainly can; but you ? Think Whistle
