All I have to ride is a 1971 CB350. Sold the 900 SuperSport to get a Multistrada.
Anyone in the States getting a firm date from their dealer? Anyone know when they'll be shipping accesories--especially the paniers?
Schroell, seeing as you seem to be the only one who's riding one, what's the report on two-up? How did it handle for the rider, how did the pillion like it?

was one of the main purposes why I sold my 916. I can tell you that no other duc feels as good with two persons as this one. I tried a lot of them...
Due to the great torque, you nearly don't notice the second person and even rushing through the curbs is not disturbed by the second passenger as he is no sitting too high and making balance difficult.
We had been riding 300 km last week in the mountains and it was really great fun. |

Well, I sure hope that's accurate, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. They promised my bike would arrive last week but nothing has appeared yet. Remember that we are dealing with Italians here and there are some cultural differences. If you put pressure on an Italian, he'll promise you whatever it takes to get rid of you for now.
On pillion comfort: the new PS magazine has a comparison test of the Multistrada, the KTM 950 Adventure and the TDM900. They consider that pillion comfort on the Ducati is better than on the TDM, and I always considered my old TDM close to perfection for pillions. Oh, and the overall winner on points was the Multistrada, off course . |

BCM Ducati & Richmond Ducati both have the silver bike in stock now. Here in Alabama my dealer says the red bike I have on order should be in no later than Friday 6-20.
Anyone here in the states actually have one in their garage yet? |

There is now a red one in Nashville and the dealer has pre-sold all his allotted units. If my dealer dosn't get one quick...I may have to get on a plane! |

Shop just called, the bike's here. They might have it prepped for me tomorrow, either way I'm going out to throw a leg over it. |
