Hi Folks,

I'm a very "motivated" future buyer of the MS but also a sound freak. After finding out that the MS is the first Ducati that is also ridable by taller people my question is: what's the sound like? The bike I ride must come up with some decent sound, this is why I've never bought a BMW.

Any comments from you guys that already own an MS?

Later,
Andy

Hi Andy
I agree, sound is very important.

I took my MTS to a racetrack this summer. It was an Italian race-day. All the others had 748, 749, 999 etc. and most of them with carbon Termis mounted - great sound Cool
What we did not know was that the arrangement only allowed 95 db on the racetrack because it was a sunday afternoon Mad Mad Mad
The result was that only five dukes, four 749 and one MTS (mine) with original exhaust mounted, were allowed to race! It was great fun, but almost no sound!

I'm still waiting for my long ago ordered Termis. With Termis mounted I hope the Italian race-day next summer not will take place on a sunday afternoon Wink

Hopefully the Termis will sound more like this: (stole the link from Hans W)

Go to downloads and listen to org. MTS sound.

If you remove the cataliser you will have a very nice sound like Cool other ducati and much better than termi Neutral !
I make the exchange after trying the 2 !

Just don't believe the Termi sound like that exhaust on the video-file mentioned above. That thing above is a completely different exhaust without cat and without the"db-killers".
The original MS sounds like nothing, you might as well listen to a japanese enduro with standard setup, just crap..
