Well we hit 100000 TX miles last night on the way home from work.
"thank you sir may I please have another"
The thing is running great no smoke and no excessive oil burning. I swear when we pulled into the garage I heard her say "lets go for 200k"
The new 1200 hits DFW show rooms this Friday. I'll be waiting when they open for busines

Maybe you should contact Ducati to see if they have any interest in your Multi.

Ducati North America is aware. They posted a bit on Ducati.com when I hit 90000 miles. Guess they are not impressed enough to reward my efforts as yet. 5

When I bought mine last May, there was an '08 model there with 70,000+ miles on it! Guess the guy didn't need a desk job and all he did was Iron Butts and personal riding. Saw the odometer myself.

I put 10,000+ on mine at not quite a year riding alot. 25,000 a year much better. Good job.

Aquired this magic carpet Jun 2007 so that would be 33000 miles a year, give er take. Either way it's been a blast. I hope the 1200 is as reliable and easy to work on.

Congrats to you Zookiman!

I've got lots to ask about your services & upkeep and other stuff in order to go the miles but just one for now -

What tires do you run? And typically how many miles do you get out of them?

...The never ending quest to find the right shoes

Thanks,
Susan
