I bought this bike new in 2008 from Duc Pond Motosports, Winchester, VA .
Pictures will be posted later this week.
Mileage: 9802. Condition: Great.
Service: Has had it's 7500 mile service with valve adjustment. Oil is changed every 2000 miles (even though she doesn't need it). I only and always use AMSOIL.
The following “Enhancements” have been applied to this bike:
. New battery, this year, I installed this.
. Michelin Pilot Roads 2, with 2,000 miles on them.
. Low-Beam lamp.
. LCD Taillight from Ducati Designs, LLC., I installed this.
. Renthall 14T Front Sprocket
. Rizoma Performance Parts: Handle Bars, Risers. Front Turn Signals, I installed these, Tomok Mirrors, I installed these.
. Shift-Tech Performance Parts (carbon fiber), I installed these: EVO Exhaust Guard, Lower Swing Arm Guard, Sprocket Guard, Evolution Hugger
. (Complete) Termignoni Exhaust System, baffles removed and sold
. CRG Levers
. Pro Grips
. Throttle Lock
. EVAP Canister Removed (I performed this.)
All of the above work was completed by Duc Pond Motosports (Donnie Unger & Company), except as indicated.
The ONLY ISSUE I had with this bike was the right stock mirror got broken. I was pulling into a Dunkin Donuts parking lot going up a slight hill when some R@t B@st@rd pulled in and cut me off. I slammed on my brakes to avoid being hit and the bike went down GRACEFULLY. I eased her down on her right side without a problem but the plastic stem of the mirror did crack. I replaced both mirrors with Rizoma Tomok Black.
Also, there are no front turn signals on this bike (exposed). Meaning ….. I have front turn signals (Rizoma), installed, but they are tucked away inside the fairing and would need to be mounted, if you want to mount them. They do work. Virginia does not require front turn signals. But they are there.
The Kelly Blue Book for this bike is $6,680 in GOOD condition. She is in better than GOOD and there are over $4000.00 of extras on this bike. The complete Termi exhaust alone is 3K.
I believe I have ALL of the original parts (even the broken mirror). I will go through the box and take inventory. I have all keys and original documents too.
This bike was garaged during the winter and a cover used when outside for extended periods. I changed the oil EVERY 2K miles and used AMSOIL …... just because I wanted to.
I did not beat the crap out of this bike. She was well taken care of.
My plan is to sell her and purchase a 2011SP or 2012 (whatever).
Duc Pond does not offer trade-ins otherwise I'd work with Donnie. However, Coleman PowerSports does take trade-ins. I spoke with a Coleman Sales Rep yesterday and I will be bringing the bike down to Woodbridge Monday or Tuesday after work so they can give me a trade-in estimate.
The Coleman sales rep told me they use Kelly Blue Book for trade-in values. If Coleman's does not take into consideration the 4K in extras I have on the bike I will not trade with them.
However, I'd rather offer my bike up first to those on this Net.
So ….... If you're interested, PM me and make me a reasonable offer. If it beats what Coleman may offer me ….. it's simple math …...
