Has any uk owner got a used oil temp sender to sell?

It's the bit which screws into the crankcase and sends a signal to the instrument panel.

Supposedly an Opel car unit is the same. Forgot what model. Seems there was a thread here or on Ducati.ms about it. Same manufacturer as Duc OEM. Take yours to auto parts store and match em up. Hard to find in USA but fairly common in Euro.
Good luck and happy hunting

I think it was this which I ordered last summer, but I am not 100% sure as I have lost the papers which came with it but this was the thing I ordered:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...ME:L:OU:GB:3160

The thread size was the biggest problem. Most of these sensors seemed to be on bigger bore thread than what we would need on MTS. I could not find any suitable from normal spare part shop, that is why ordered from ebay. It cost me more for the postage from UK than the part cost.

Isn't the oil temp senser / sender screwed into the base of the oil cooler? The oil pressure sender may be what you are referring to as it would be installed in the engine block.

Definitively, that piece on the engine side case right side is oil pressure sender. Temperature senders there are two, the one for the instrument panel gauge is at the oil cooler bottom right side and there is another one for the ECU at the horizontal cylinder head on the valve adjustment cover.
