Have had the GS for a couple of years. Can't shake the memory of the '06 Multi. What's the view on a '13 Pikes Peak?

Never having ridden a GS, I really can't say if the 1200 will scratch both the 1000 itch and the GS itch. The 1200 is quite different from the 1000/1100. I came from a 1000, went to a 1200 for about 6 months and am now back on an 1100 (with a 620 as a backup). Nothing against the 1200 whatsoever - brilliant bike with incredible power - just didn't have the bicycle-like feel of the early Multis. If you miss your 1000, I'd say keep the GS and find a nice used 1000/1100 to go along with it. They can be had practically for a song these days.

Nah, go with a bike that stirs your soul, every klm/mile should be enjoyed to the full, as it does with a Ducati twin Laughing

Glad you wanting a Multi again, go test ride the 1200 for half a day. Have to say the PP is expensive on difference is paint job and lots of carbon which I don't like, bit of fancy stitching in seat, no more BHP

Buy a 1200s

Someone posted just a couple days ago a PP listed in Cincinatti ebay under the "wanna buy" section. I think it was a '12 with 6k miles and a bunch of extras for under $20k.
