| Looking for 05/06 or newer. Like black.. have a quest, would you hold out for 1100s or get a good feel on 1000s????? |

Both are great bikes, indeed.
The 1100 has more torque, the 1000 is probably the better sports engine as IMO it revs quicker.
Go for an S, if possible.
Colours ... black is always faster, but as you know: Colours doesn't matter.
