The price for a Multistrada 620 has been reduced from Aus$14,500 to Aus$14,000. On-the-road would be about Aus$15,000. At an exchange rate of .745 this equates to US$11,175. I see in one of the other threads that someone in Denver picked one up for US$7,725 'out the door'.

I guess the price reduction is due to low sales. But I can't see such a small price drop doing much to boost sales.

Recently I saw a new V-Strom 650 for Aus$10,000 (plus on road costs).
The Multistrada 620 seems way overpriced here and the national importer seems to dictate the retail pricing to the dealers. (I wonder if our competition watchdog, the ACCC, would have anything to say about that?)

If the 620 was more realistcally priced I might consider buying one. It would probably suit me better than my '98 750 Supersport.
