Re: Looking at a MTS, questions to ask
I've taken a couple of extended weekend trips with my 620, and been caught in some torrential downpours both times. Other than a temporary fogging of the instrument cluster, which cleared up after a couple of hot days in the sun, I didn't have any rain related issues...yet. That being said, I would ...

Re: The new Japanese Multistrada
Looks like a very cool trip ptooey! And those Versys look better in Aussie green than US red IMO. Sorry to hear about the crash of your 'Strada, is it just me or does this seem to be a disturbing trend lately? I genuinely hope you and your bike are both doing well.

Re: The new Japanese Multistrada
I have had three different bikes in the last 5 years. Selling my just finished rebuilt 83 Moto Guzzi Le Mans III because of riding position and finding a 620. I have looked at many different bikes and on forums for problems. It seems the Multi has the fewest problems and the most enjoyment in a ...

Re: Yellow '06 620 ... thinking about it
OK, so I went back for a second look at the 620 and to talk business. Here's what I came up with;
Frame date = 05/2005, so it is indeed an '05.
In service date = 7/2006, so there is one year remaining on the factory warranty, and explains why the bike is registered as an '06.
600 mile service has ...

Re: Yellow '06 620 ... thinking about it
Since service history is unknown, even if the wrench light isn't on, I'd ask them to include the 600 mile break-in service in their prep.
If you do get it, I'd like to hear how you think it compares to your Transalp. That was one of the bikes I considered renting in Italy if I'd been able to make ...

Re: Yellow '06 620 ... thinking about it
I just spotted a yellow 620 sitting in the lot at BMW of Orlando. They took it as a trade-in a few days ago and I'm sure they'll want to move it. Even if it's not right for you (price, mileage, etc.), it might be worth a phone call to get the details, if only to assist in the negotiations with your ...

Yellow '06 620 ... thinking about it
Really liked the Multi from the first time I sat on one at the International Cycle show a few years ago, and now that the 620 has been discontinued, I feel like my days are numbered as to being able to get a new or low mileage yellow one, which to me is the only color that interests me. So searching ...

Re: Test road a 2007 Multi 1100S-somethings got to be wrong
Could the vibration be more perceived than actual? I took a 620 out last Saturday, ('06 w/800 miles), and immediately noticed the gauge cluster shook like a Buell w/ moderate to hard acceleration from under 3k rpm, but the actual vibration felt was not intrusive at all.
