Re: looking for a 620 in the midwest. I live in Kansas city

There's one for sale (a dark) in Albuquerque (both on Ebay and craigslist). I could check it out if you'd like and could probably store it for a short time.

Re: 620 newbie

Personally, I'd suggest buying something cheaper as a first bike--one that won't cost so much to fix when it gets dropped.

Re: Cost of ownership

MPH cycles in Houston sells Guzzis and has an excellent reputation.

Overall, I'd guess it depends on how you balance out the "experience" vs money spent. My MTS 620 is a very fun and enjoyable machine. It is going to be quite a bit more expensive to maintain than my Guzzi(s), however, but again the ...

Re: Tall rider

I think I saw you yesterday as you were leaving Bernalillo just after dinner (I was driving my gray Guzzi sidecar outfit). I also have a red Multi (but a 620) and I'm also named Rich! There is another fellow in Rio Rancho who has a MTS. We should get together for a ride sometime.

Re: Centerstand info

I put a vista cruise (I think it was), universal model on my MTS620 as a throttle lock. Works fine, but the space to install was tight. Way cheaper than the throttlemeister and very functional, but obviously not as good looking.

Re: luggage questins from newbie

I think Hepco Becker may make racks for the multistradas.

I made a set of one-off racks for Givi bags (there are a couple of pics in the photos/accessories/luggage section). I wouldn't want to make another set of racks, but I could tell you what I did.

Re: Value of a '06 Multi 620?

I just bought a red 06 Multi 620 w 650 mi for $5800. Private sale.

Looks like brand new and runs great.

Of course, now I'm on a trip and can't ride, but I'll put some miles on it when I get back home.

Re: Used MS620s

The last one on Ebay, with a high bid of $4425 (didn't hit reserve) was offered by a dealer, so I would think potential buyers would have been attracted by that.

May be a temporary situation, but the lack of interested buyers and bids seems curious.

Used MS620s

I took a Multistrada 620 out for a test ride a couple of weeks ago. I was impressed enough that I've been looking around for a "deal," mainly on Ebay.

First one up for bidding was a Dark: no bids ($5800 start, $6300 buy it now). A few days later that bike was relisted (1 bid at $5100 or so and ...
