Re: Handling of the MS comparison
I had an 05' BMWR12GS before I moved to my current 07 mts. The front-end feed back to phenominal on the mts! It makes the GS front end feel so "vague"... But, once you get used to the GS front end, there's nothing smoother out on the market. The mts offers the most feed-back I've ever experienced ...

Re: S vs non-S?
I've own a non-S version and had the opportunity to ride the S version. I got admit though I'm very happy with my non-S, the Ohlins on the S version does provide "supple" ride...better control/movement on the suspension. I didn't really "push" the S version as hard as I would mine, but I could tell ...

Re: I want a Multi, but....
+1 on SoCal's comment. I too am from GS12 & I'm not fully satisfied with the ability of the MTS for long distance riding. Espeically if your plans include such long distant trips, then STICK with the GS. Not only from the reliability stand point, but also from dealership network and parts ...

Re: Staintune Headers Group Buy
Mutli,
I've seen "Poll" setup on the web-page to see what what % of people would are interested. We'd probably have check with people like Adventrue Moto to see what's the minimum # they need to be profitable. I'll send an email to CACycles to see what they say & maybe you can email Adventure Moto ...

Re: Staintune Headers Group Buy
I'd be interested in getting a set of Slip-On kit. I recently bought a used Staintune headers, so if I can get a deal / good price on a set of slip-on kit, I'm in.

Re: Passenger Seat
Steve...I've decided to go with the Ducati, but it's been over 2 wks that I've been waiting for the bike to arrive at my local dealer!
You're right about the R1200R feeling a bit cramp. My R12GS was the same way, I felt locked in place, especailly when I could barely paddle my feet off road due to ...

Staintune Exhaust
I understand with Staintune headers/slip-on, you don't need to remap/re-chip your bike. Staintune claims that their product is designed with stock setting in mind to avoid lossing low/mid range where these bikes are ridden mostly. Anyone can attest to that? I'm considering a set since I mostly use ...

Passenger Seat
Hello, All:
I'm new and in the process of deciding whether to go with an 07 1100 or the BMW R12R. My previous bike was a BMW R12GS, so I've got some time on the German engineering. IF I decide on the MTS, it'll be my FIRST Ducati. So far, with all the accessories included, the Ducati is far better ...
