Bought my 1000 S-DS a month and a half ago in Italy for 12200 Euros and no Termis. It was the lowest price I could get from a sticker of 13500.
Some magazines there now are showing a sticker at 13200 Euros.

I think that in the States as I did in Italy, you better start from the sticker price and ...

I get paid in Euros and in US Dollars (I rent homes). What makes me wonder is:

Note that I am 200 pounds and would like to be more confortable on different road types and in Europe there are many old roads made with all kinds of bumpy stuff. I rather get what I need than fix the bike ...

I am not an experienced rider and would like to know if for mainly touring use I should spend the extra money or not.

Will I feel less the potholes and vibrations with the golden ones? Or its just a matter of turning a knob?
