Re: Multi 620 or Multi 1000DS ?????
Go for the 1000. I ride a lot of two and it rides very very easily. You cant even tell someone is behind you. You will need the power, compared to the 620.

Re: Is a multistrada upto my use and abuse?
IF you can do the servicing yourself, then thereis no better way to go from an R1. If you will not do the 6000 mile services yourself...this bike might get expensive quick. 500 miles a week means every 12 weeks, you will have to dish out 500 euros ( I am estimating).

Re: mts620 for a newbie? (long)
I too was a new rider not too long ago (somedays I still am) and the best thing I did was bought a cheaper used bike and then sold up. I too have ridden a lot of bicycles, but motorcycling is very different! You are ON THE ROAD and accidents can happen from too much wrist action or pulling the ...

MTS1000 vs Suz. V-Strom 650
MTS owners
As I am continuing to do my reserach and asking questions, I have read so many great articles on the DL650 (Vstrom). Its had even better reviews than the 1000 for value and smoothness of engine. Has anyone ridden one? I have heard that the ease of ride and power / torque between the ...

I am eyeing the MTS 1000 for a second bike. To give you some history. I have been riding a Ninja 250 for the past 1 year and I have put on 3000 miles. I test rode the MTS and I thought I did quite well in the 15 minutes I had it. I really like the bike for its handling and easy of use ...
