I believe single disc was the original intended configuration.
Ducati Marketing wanted dual disc so that they could sell more.
The duals are 300mm? the single is 320mm?
I've had no problem with the single disc, it's nice to lose the extra weight, and that's coming from someone that's ridden a speed ...
