They are all the same shape, but the 1100's are a bit softer than the original 1000 wood planks.

The side stands on 1100's are longer. About 280 mm or 11'' from centre of bolt to start of the foot. You can only dream of finding a centre stand.

basically you can go twice the distance on an 1100 before a service compared to an 1000cc ie first service 1000kms second service 12000kms third service 24000kms(first major) go for the 1100 worth it just for the wet clutch
