I am @ 5-8 and had the lower link installed. Still need to shuffle to one side to get flat footed.

I too still like the Triumph offerings but am not wavered by my choice of the MTS.
Test ride both. With you at 6-1 you might find the ST a little cramped and perhaps the heat expulsion from a fully faired ride.
For a long distance commuter the MTS could be the ticket. What you will immediatly ...
