Just re read this and realised you were talking about the clutch not the brake microswitch... I'll get my coat!

I replaced mine with a brembo hydraulic unit. Far cheaper, a lot more reliable and a lot more robust. Works a treat cost me about £10 english pounds

I say 1000 or 1100, just get the best bike in the best condition and one thats been cherished.
