The low price is probably due to the higher mileage. The 2v motors are pretty tough, so if it has been taken care of I wouldn't worry about that too much. Multistradas don't typically take the harder miles that some superbikes do (revved and pushed).

I've found an '07 1100S with 11,300 miles for $7 ...

Just a couple of months ago I paid $8500 for a 2008 with 4400 miles on it. Full Termi system too. That was a good deal I think.

That is a good deal, especially with the low miles and Termi. Wish I could find the same deal! I just missed out on an '09 1100S with 7,300 miles, no extras, for $7,000 ...
