If you don't mind spending a little, the Cruz Tools "Cruzmetrix" set is nice. You can get it here:
http://www.compacc.com/prod.cfm/cid/1111003/pid/854 Craftsman also makes one that is nice and is currently on clearance. Was $99.97 currently $64.97. It doesn't have everything you need and has a few ...

Re: Advice for Second bike
IMO the Monster would be better for commuting in NY traffic but the Multi would be better for the long trips and two up riding. I agree with Dan, that you should test ride both. The 620 was not out when I bought mine so I have a 1000 but I have ridden a 620 and to be honest in a lot of ways I like ...

Re: Financing question
My dealer in Seattle worked with a local credit union that had great rates (about 4%) when I got mine. The cost was the same if I went direct or not- I don't think the dealer got anything, although perhaps they got some referral cash or something.
There certainly was no extra charges when I did ...

Re: I see a MTS in my future....
Actually the centerstand works fine with most performance exhausts, the Staintune header has a center stand stop welded right on it. The center stand stop is an available option on the Staintune header kit. It doesn't cost any more to get it but you have to ask for it when you order it if you want ...

Re: Market value of Mutistrada?
$10,000 is way out of line for the used '05 offer $7500-$8000 and see if he bites. I wouldn't go more than $8500 for a used '05 and at 5000 miles, you gotta' take into account the cost of the 6000 mile service when purchasing it.

Only two? You really need to get out more and get some more riding buddies.mats620 wrote:I know two guys, one has a KLR650 and the other has a GS650 Dakar.

Re: do u like the idea of a wet clutch on the 1100 ????
I would like the third choice:
Doesn't make much difference.
It certainly wouldn't stop me from buying the bike.
I have had good luck with the dry clutches, although the stock baskets/plates seem to have too short of a life. The ProCutting basket/ clutch kit makes it much better and lasts a lot ...

I agree with Kneepuck, the old was, well, just plain ugly! The new Tiger does look better but what's up with the color choices? Black, Grey or Blue all dark colors (harsh words coming from a guy with a black bike but...), they should offer at least one bright color and with a name like "Tiger ...

Hmmm....
All's it needs are some apehangers with tassles and leather saddle bags. http://members.aol.com/naddmd/thumbsup.gif C'mon it's not THAT bad. Just paint all the blue parts back to red or black and it's actually a nice bike. I would also remove the cat but overall it wouldn't take much work ...
