Re: Multistrada Lugage and passenger question

Yep, she'll have to adjust her feet from where she put them prior to having the side bags installed, but it's not a significant difference.

From what you're saying, it sounds like she'll find it to her liking, even with bags installed.

Re: Multistrada Lugage and passenger question

I think the size of your wife is a factor. My wife has a slender build and is tall at 5'9". She finds the Multistrada to be her favorite bike of everything we've owned - Concours years ago, Ducati ST2/4, Aprilia Futura. I can do decent mileage on the MTS (I've got a BBG1500 under my belt) and my ...

Re: This Multi's CRAZY!

Goodness, regarding the blue, I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. We should have a vomit emoticon. I would use it here.

All that money....and he still has the cat and stock wheels w/hard mounted rotors. The process of allocating resources to modifications must have involved the ...

Re: If I Buy a MTS Should I Expect It To Break?

but rarely do you see a thread titled, "12k service went great today. No issues. Thanks for reading." So take rants like mine with a grain of salt.

Hey, wait a minute, I posted just such a thread the other day...ok, it was 6k service and not 12k....details, details... :D

Re: Passenger touring

We've owned several bikes over the years, the latest ones being ST2, ST4, and Futura. As you can tell, we're Sport Touring people, so there's no way we'd want a full on tourer. Anyway, of any bike I've owned, she loves the Multistrada the most. She's comfortable with the corbin seat and full luggage ...

Re: 2003 or 2004 Strada...??

Actually, '03 and '04 are the same, right? They fixed those items for '05, thought.

SFGUZZI, I think it all depends on the bike, price, warranty situation, etc. If you find a good '03 that has had the mirrors and sidestand replaced that is decently priced, go for it. Also, if you find a bike that ...

Re: '05 MTS or '05 ST3

I passed on the ST3 for one reason: suspension. The only adjustment on the ST3 forks is preload and the rear shock is a Sachs unit.

The suspension on the MTS1000 (non-S model) has Showa suspension that is fully adjustable, so that was my pick. S model is even better with the bling bling Ohlins ...
