A shop near me has a leftover 2008 1000 that is going for under 10k, they also have the sc1000 for about 9500

Since the mts1000 doesn't have strong resale there are deals galore all over. My question is if the 2005 is worth an extra 1k over a 2004. Consider both are in like new condition, I'm familiar with the updates to the 2005 and just wondering what experienced mts'ers think.
