Re: Is the S model worth it
I know there're some folks out there who find they just can;t get the S model's suspension set up properly for them and wonder if the standard model could have been better for them. I'm sure there are some posts on the matter here somewhere.

Re: '05 MTS or '05 ST3
I recently rode an ST3 (great bike & engine) when my MS was being checked. I'm 6'0' and although the bars can have risers dont forget the footrests are much more sporty on the ST. I agree that there is much more protection at high speeds on the ST. I guess it depends on what you mainly will be doing ...

Re: Multistrada 1000 as first Bike?
Just had my 1000 MS serviced and was loaned a M620. Top enginer this one. I know not as powerful as the big brother but very willing and certainly likes to be reved up to the max 10,ooo r.p.m? Unless you want absolute speed all the time this 620 is a winner!! Enjoy

Re: buying ex-demo
I bought mine last November from On Yer Bike Aylesbury. Silver Ducati demo bike, 6500miles but with Termis chip etc. Whisker under £6000. Hope that helps. Bike has none of the problems of others luckily except the stupid fuel guage!!! Good luck.

Re: What to do??
Having had a 916 amongst many other bikes I think why your haunted is that the Multi feels so good, stable, safe and flatters any riding style. I've never ridden a bike like it, that's why I bought one!! I think the others are right saying if you get one you'll not bother with your others ...
