Re: Would like to buy Multistrada 620-advice please

3 yrs, 50,000km, only problem is the tyres keep wearing out.
Reliability is no more an issue with modern Ducs than it is with Jap bikes.
Monster vs MTS - just a matter of which you find comfortable, same engine very similar handling, lots more leg room on the Multi.

Re: MS 620 ???

...Having said all that I have done a couple of 1000 mile days and there is another site member with a 620 here in NZ who is maybe a foot taller than me (well, a lot taller anyway) and he completed a 24hr/1000 mile ride no problems at all last October. I had forgotten about his example when I ...

Re: 2006 MTS620 pricing? I need your opinion

Reliability - 27000km (17000 miles) in 18 months, only problem is the tyres keep wearing out
As for horse power i find the trick is not to ride anything more powerful and you will be very happy. Just back from Australia where we hired BMW F650's for 10 days - they felt very slow with ...

Re: MTS 620 vs 600 super sport

I haven't ridden a 600 but when i bought my 620 new the guy in the dealers workshop who did the 10km test run said it was the first 620 he had ridden and he felt was a noticeable improvement over the 600.
Of course he was praising what they were selling me - but could have said nothing if he didn't ...

Re: 620 or 1000?

David

i had a R1150R Rockster before my Multi and am quite happy with the 620 - i also am not into top speed running. Acceleration off the mark on the Multi is at least as good but in general you do need to use the gears more and the bike does feel more lightweight than the BMW when riding two up ...

Re: A few questions for 620 owners...

2. Related to the above, if you're my height, which screen did you settle on for the least wind noise and buffeting? Standard screen ...

Re: Dilemma... S2R 800 or MTS 620???

Demo bike - the dealers demonstrator, the one you can take for a test ride, as opposed to the ones that you can only drool next to (not onto) in the shop.
If its ex demo then you would probably be getting last years model, be the second owner after the dealer, bike would have some miles on the clock ...

Re: Dilemma... S2R 800 or MTS 620???

I'm 6'2", a recent convert to an MTS 620 and a former M900 owner.
The Monster was a blast, great for short trips but very cramped after a while. On a 600km day i found the last hour or few VERY uncomfortable, although i have been a licensed rider for 25 years so not as flexible as i used to be ...
