We've done consecutive 1000 km days two-up on an '05 S model and wouldn't hesitate to reccomend the MTS to anyone. It's, by far , the most satisfying bike I've ever ridden. There's minor quirks, but the over-all experience is unique. The Multi has a character that riders of other bikes don't ...
Ducatis' have querks. They are totally different from any other ride out there. Honda, (fucking ) BMW et al engineer character out of their products. Ducatis ooze the stuff !!
We have the hard bags on ours. They come off easy and the mounts don't look terrible,in my opinion . My Girlfriend loved the look right away and it took me a ride to get used to it but love the look now !! Also you must remember -- the Ducati will get to anywhere you want to go and when you're there ...
I was looking through some old posts and found one of your assesments on these fine German machines. That sums up an unbiased opinion. I almost bought one in '88. Got invited to a wine & cheese affair for the new '89 model intro. Went for beer & chicken wings instead and bought a Concours. Never ...
No experience with Guzzi except a test ride on a Norge 1200. Power from the bike is weak compared to the Multi. Would definitely get boring fast. The only neat thing about it was revving it at a light. The twist is kind of a good feeling. We ride the Multi 2 up ( stock seat, windscreen and bars ...
Those V-rods are very nice. If you pick up a Multi you will find a big difference. Not as quick but you won't have to slow down for the corners anymore. Good luck. You have good taste in bikes !!
The Kaws been out in Canada for a year now. Seems popular enough. Riders seem to enjoy them -- that's all that's important,I guess. Biggest difference is the Kaw will get you home and the Ducati will get you laid. ( commited to a relationship, just an observation )I've got over 20,000 kms on my 1000 ...
Old CB750's are cool bikes!! I've chased down many old bikes just to drool over them without knowing the person riding IT wants to talk about the Duc!!!
I`ve gone back and looked at maintenance costs on five other bikes I`ve owned (since new) and find I`m spending no more money keeping our `05 S running good. We`ve covered over 10,000 kms in all weather with no problems at all. My service costs are not outrageous and get the bike back within 24 ...
We bought our first Ducati this year. It was a dream come true for me.It`s like riding a piece of art and people respond to them that way. On another side-it`s also a VERY capable motorcycle.I was surprised how comfortable it is for a bike that handles so easily! You can tell from this site the ...
Tigers have usually sat in the showroom a while around here.My dealer sells both Triumph and Ducati(Ottawa Goodtime Centre;main line`s Kaw) I think a lower and updated Tiger might stir some interest to them! The inverted forks and 17" rims look more exotic than earlier models and you can bet their ...
I`ve owned both as well (`02 Tiger&`05 MTS 1000) Love both bikes. Ducati is a tough bike and rain never has been a problem. I found the Tiger a bit "wallowy" in the corners but more able to take off roading (light). The triple is a very strong motor. We like the Ducati more than the Triumph but I ...
