I just bought some from www.moto-science.com The guy was quick and helpful. He sent 4-5 multi photos with different mirrors and I simply chose the one I liked best. He has the FAR mirrors as well.
Hope that helps

Re: reliability concerns
I think so much of the experience of your bike depends on the dealer. I have never had a problem with parts being in stock - from oil lines, to a new updated dash. I have had zero problems in 13,000 miles save that of the warranty stuff - and again, all parts were in stock. Make sure you have a ...

Re: I'm thinkig of one
You can get a good demo ride in Modesto California. The dealer is Modesto Ducati - ask for Dianna. Its about an hour and a half from SF, but there are plenty of open roads to test the multi on. In fact, if you let me know, I'll meet you at the dealer and take you on a little tour of some of the best ...

Re: Is the multi for me?
Hi Al,
I agree with what has been said - go ride one and see what happens. I was looking at a half dozen different bikes - the multi NOT being one of them. Then I saw one when I dropped a freind off at a bike shop and began to wonder.... I rode it and 8500 miles later, I still can't wipe the grin ...

The MTS won't fair well as an off road bike. Never was inteded to do so.
I am 6'4 and ride a multi. I have put in 1500 miles in three days, and will be doing 1800 in three days at the end of May. No problems whatsoever. Three weeks ago, I rode it 400 miles through the coastal mountains to a track ...

Re: reliability concerns
The Multistrada was my first Italian bike - and I have put over 7000 miles on it without a problem. I have loved every mile. The V-Strom cannot compare when it comes to enjoyment. My only input is that you are sure that you have a good dealer - even if they are 100 miles away. I have had zero ...

Another way to make higher speeds tolerable is to buy a good helmet. I have a Nolan x-lite that is probably the best helmet for buffeting I have ever used. Better than arai, and the rest. It makes a world of difference.

Re: No. CA. Dlr. Recommendations
Modesto Ducati has top notch sales and service. I would recommend them highly. They have made owning a ducati an absolute pleasure! (Modesto Buell & Ducati) I know many people who come in from the bay area to do business with them.

Re: Falco to Multistrada...... Maybe
I have the comfort seat and it works well. Weight makes a difference. I am 210lbs, so the seat needs to have a little more support than it does for someone at 150lbs. It is a vast improvement over the stock seat - I can do a couple of hours in the saddle with no problem at all. However, when I go on ...

Re: dirty ability of the MS
My experience is that the MS is truly a paved road bike - along the lines of any other sportbike. Though it looks more like a super enduro, when the surface is loose, the bike with standard tires slides around like any other. The wide handlebars give better control, but it is still skittish. A ...

Re: Multistrada vs. ST4s
The MS was my first full time street bike for the very same reason you are looking at it. I rode dirt bikes for 25 years. I have ridden dozens of bikes to find something I really like. I almost bought the BMW 1150GS when I stumbled across the multistrada. I rode it, and 2000 miles later, I can't get ...

Well, I live just an hour north of you in Turlock CA, and I have ridden in the 100+ degree weather and have had no problem with the heat - so don't worry about that one.
As I write this, I am bringing my bike in for a minor problem tomorrow, (oil line began to leak) but outside of that, I have had ...

Re: Need Help in Purchase Decision
I love my multi - but it doesn't sound like its what you are looking for. This is not a long distance comfort bike. I have done a few 3-400 mile days, but mostly through the mountains - twisties and stuff. It's not silky smooth nor is it trouble free. But every time I get off of it, I am smiling for ...
