Tell them that while you would have preferred to buy the bike from them, you'd certainly rather have the maintenance work done by a shop w/ a reputation for excellent customer service that you can trust. For one thing, it's the truth, and I think they'll be more than happy to secure a long-term ...

Gods bless Ducati for building the Multistrada, one of the most forward-thinking motorcycles ever.

Yeah, they'll be happy to help you... at 21% interest. Your best bet is to secure financing through your bank or credit union, or get a co-signor. The financing rates given by the companies almost all dealerships use are just short of usury.
