Hello, my first post and hopefully not my last.

I have a chance to buy a 2006 model MTS 1000. It was a clearance from a local dealer and bought by a colleague early 2008.

It has 150 km on the clock and is mint. He has only ridden it twice.

The engine number is something like P006 51301 or P086 51301. Does anybody know if this is after the soft valve guide issue?

I have an 06 1000. Just had the 20k done, and they had to replace the valve guides.
