I'm looking at the 1000s in Socal. Obviously lot's of choices in dealerships. Should be an advantage.
Would love to know how much you all paid and at what dealership.
Thanks for the input.

A friend buys alot of bikes there and is good friends with Bill. Was there last week and spoke with Samson Ng. Didn't talk hard numbers too much.
Just shopping at the moment. We'll see what happens.
Thanks for the reply.

they are retail, period. btw, friend brought his 999 in for service there and they put 250 miles on it, nice. I bouught a used 96 from them years ago and it was fine. I would look at del amo, I just picked up a 2006 S over the weekend for 12k OTD, they have black and the slower red color. Ask for Nic, very nice guy

Kurt,
Didn't have much luck with either of those dealers so I went for a used one.
A "Slower" Red '06 1000s
$11,250
Oh yeh... and only 336 miles & the full Termi Upgrade.
Red must be the "Cheaper" one too.
Cheers

1. That is a good price for a 1000s. I was not hoping to see that depriciation in print. Gotta keep it forever now.
2. Red is not the slower color but, in fact, is the faster color. Don't make me bust out the pics to prove it.
Congrats,
james

James,
One only has to follow some of the Ebay auctions to see how these and most bikes depreciate.
I beleive that is now the key. Keep it forever or lose a ton of money. Fortunately I love the bike.
Cheers

Yeah, but I don't normally go seek out the prices on e-bay or elsewhere. I believe ignorance is bliss.
I can honestly say that after 10 months and 12k miles I like the bike today more than I liked it when I first bought it.
It is funny, I ride my 748 for a while and think "man, this is a great bike" but then I get on the Multi and realize how much more I like my Multi.
