I find my 14T 620 just right for fun and if I was a better rider as most could be the 620 has a lot to offer,

I'd like to drag a knee, but haven't ,yet or can't .
So its just right my GT will go 150mph and thats scarry, my 620 with 14T will go about TON+8, and with the wind is more fun than 150 on the GT!

I'm in a similar position as as JC, except my GT is an '04, and my 620 is bone stock.

I bought the 620 as a day rider, and while I have done 500 mile days, I don't think I would want to do them sequentially. Power is reasonable for anything below 80mph although compared to the GT, you do have to plan more time for highway speed passes. And it will do over a ton with good stability, but IMHO, that's not it's forte'.

Both bikes give me a grin anytime I ride them. The GT is at its best for weekend runs from Tucson to Reno (2,500 miles round trip) or riding the sweepers in Southern Utah. The MTS is at its best for rides like Mount Lemmon, Aravaca Road, the Santa Monica mountains in Southern California, and Highway 3, 36, & 299 in Northern California. For long distance trips to fun destinations, I trailer it there and back, and ride the hell out of it while I am there.
