Damn this hurts. The continued sinking of the stock market in spite of "the bailout" means we're in for a long rough road. Since it looks like "it'll get worse before it gets better", I've decided to postpone the purchase of a MTs that I've had my eye on.
I want to thank the members of this forum for all their advice.

Yep, then cry that you were tricked into buying it. Maybe you would qualify for federal assistance to adjust the amount you have to pay back.
Ah.... what a country.
Actually I commend you for making a mature decision in this turbulent time. Everyone I respect that I've discussed the market with has said the same thing, "no spending on non-essentials for at least 2 years". I know we need to spend $$$ to keep the economy chugging along but I've done my share over the past few years, it's somebody elses turn for awhile. We're locking down our finances and buying some select stocks as the market dips down. I love being a buyer in a firesale.
