Been doing some searching here, but was wondering what one would call a good deal on a 2006 Multistrada S, basically all stock with under 3K miles on it?

There's a low mileage 2006 S on eBay with 2k miles on it for $9,800 with no takers yet. The bike started at $10,300, then the price came down once, and now again to $9,800. The bike is completely stock. With no takers (yet) at $9,800, that figure seems to be at the upper end of the market value.

Are you considering that bike, by any chance? It looks great! (I'm not the seller, nor do I know the seller.) I'd buy it, but I don't like the Multistrada in red. I prefer yellow. Now if Ducati would just make an 1100S (or a Supermoto) in yellow.

Thanks for the reply. That was the one in which I'm interested. A buddy of mine who rides a lot suggested I wait and ride both a Multi and a new Tiger (I've owned and currently own various of the Triumph triples) and make my mind up at that time. I'm having a hard time coming to grips with the cost of a new Multi S, though. The lightly used S like the one listed seemed like a good deal.

At this point, I've got a couple of personal things going on, so I may just resume my search next year and ride the bikes I've already got. Have to think about it a bit.

Assuming the one on e-bay is legit, I think it's a great price. I saw it some time ago too and also noticed that the original asking price was decreased. In fact, I was a little discouraged that there were no takers. It's practically brand new.
