What's a good form of payment for a private sale? I'd guess a bank draft or cashier's check.

Dealer has an 07 1100S Red "Demo" with 800 miles. They want $12,500 + sales tax + $375 factory freight puts it at $13,995 plus plates OTD. Price includes first service. There is a GIVI top box installed they will sell me at a "discount" but it's not included in the $12.5k.
