Re: South Coast UK Dealer
Avoid Alan Lear Motorcycles in Winchester.
A few weeks ago I bought an ST2 as a winter runabout. The previous owner took it there for a new clutch a week before I bought the bike. 300 miles after I bought it the clutch was making weird grinding noises, and slipping under load but not disengaging ...

Re: South Coast UK Dealer
Are you after buying a dealership or Multistrada
Don't know anything about them but I suspect 3X Motorcycles are the nearest to you.
http://www.3xmotorcycles.net/
2008 1100 bikes with 1 mile on the clock for £7800
or £7950 with the panniers.

I have a 30" inside leg and have no problems as the front of the seat is narrow. You don't need to lower it at all.

Re: Undicided, Seeking Advive
Buy the demo for the termigs alone. The bike should have had all problems dialled out by now, and will obviously be a better price.

Re: Are Demo Multis Not A Good Buy
My personal view is that demo bikes are great value and a wise buy as anything that could have gone wrong, generally will have before you get the bike. Buy it for christ sake

Re: What other bike did you look at when you bought your Multi?
I went to Birmingham NEC Bike show in November with the intention of test riding a Mule Uselessees. It was way too tall for me. In the end I rode the Super TT. It was bloody aweful. Looked like it was mage by Chad Valley.
I had previously riden the Versys and found it to be a good bike but with no ...

Re: New to the Ducati experience
I think my Ducati is the best bike I have ever had, (and I have had a few). For what its worth, I bought my bike in March, 04 Plate, 2000 miles on the clock, with 2 owners from main dealer, Ducati Aylesbury, for £4000. The bike was serviced, the timing belts were changed and they had changed the ...

Re: New to the Ducati experience
I have had 2 SV650S's and a Pegaso Strada Trail.
I got rid of my Pegaso Strada Trail for the Multistrada!
Great little bike but
Nowhere near as comfortable
Fi surging issues at around 3 MPH
Soon runs out of puff above 70mph
Doesn't really go off road but is a Trail style road bike. Moto version ...
