Re: Weird Newbye...

I'm afraid I'm not kidding... Would you like an evidence? Perhaps a photo of me, standing in front of the factory with the daily local newspaper?

oh, ok i believe you... but some snicky photos from the mechanics working on multis while they talking on their cellphone... will always be acceptable ...

Re: Not so sure about my S4R........

the S4R is a beautifull naked bike, just like the most of you describe it...

it also has the same (or a bit higher) price than the multi.. (at least here in Greece)

so, if you find it raugh for your needs, i recoment you to give it back to the dealer (your bike is new!) and buy a multi or a S2R ...

Re: MTS as a touring bike?

For my way of seen, multi is a great bike to ride everyware!

ofcource the first 1 or 2 years i wouldn't program trips over 4000km, to give the bike (and me) time for settings or improvements.

ps: i don't have good sence of easy riding and i respont to japs even after a 3 hours ride ...

Re: Is the multi for me?

i found in the multi (not my own yet... :( ) the same comfort that i found on GS and TDM.
if you have a covered place to keep her, i think that you will love it.
i am getting tired over the 180km distance and the only reason that keep me away from her are my savings...
i 'm 1,81m and 85kgm. I am ...

Re: mts620 for a newbie? (long)

dear friend...

i have previously drove a 620 monster for a couple of weeks... it has a nice and reliable moteur but you get used to it's power quickly enough!

i think that the money that you are going to spent is already enough without being too far from a used 1000DS (here they have announced ...

When i start this threat i wasn't look at problems area...

Re: The Desmo Decision

ok i 've never had to maintenance a multi!

but just tires and oil?

in my opinion 2 valve twins have an easier (cheaper) and understundable maintenance...
That doesn't means "just tires and oil", ofcource they have a lot of "small thinks" that need the experience of a pro! NOT that is a bad think ...
