Re: 2006 MTS620 pricing? I need your opinion
I have ~6,500 miles on my red '06 620, for which I paid $7,000 plus tax license and setup a year ago. So you're in the zone there. I think the 620 is an incredible value. It's been an awesome bike. Super reliable. I think (from what I've heard and read on this list, anecdotally only) it's more ...

Re: Need more info before purchasing
I have a 620, with now 5200 miles, probably 3,000 of those in commuting miles in pot-holed urbanity, the rest on long road trips. The suspension is definitely the weakest point. I think whether the suspension works for you depends on your weight and riding style. I'm kind of a big guy (215 lbs) and ...

Fantastic! Congrats on the new bike. You'd've ended up spending way more than $1,000 I'd guess to fix up the 750SS...so ya done well.Butch757 wrote:He was a totally straight shooter, the seller was a restaurant owner in Manhattan that just wanted a very quick sale.
Enjoy!

I hear there's a bridge for sale up your way....
Unless the seller has all the right paperwork, can document the whole deal, nothing funny in the transfer of money, not a salvage title, etc etc I'd steer clear.
I'd expect an '06 620 with 1,000 miles to sell for more like $6,500. Maybe ...

Re: A few questions for 620 owners...
And here I was about to ramble on to you about this clever guy I'd read about on this board who put a single-sided swingarm on his 620.....
Now that could be the perfect Multi. Seriously. I'd like to hear more about that, over on that other thread maybe....

Re: A few questions for 620 owners...
Hey vern748,
Thanks. From what I can tell so far I completely agree with your take. There are definitely a few things from the 1000S or 1100S I'd like on the bike--the suspension mainly, and a fuel system that doesn't require fiddling when filling the tank...and that single-sided swingarm sure is ...

Re: Noob questions <------ here.
On to your question, get the 620. You will be able to handle it, but it is also a nice enough bike that you might not outgrow it. Unike other bikes that are suitable for people with little experience, the 620 manages to please many experienced riders as well. It is not a disposable, beginners only ...

Strong, functional, and well-tested Monorack-style toprack for either general luggage or a Givi Monokey topcase (E460, E52, etc). .
There's a comment on that rack on the Twisted Throttle site that says it puts the case quite far back ...

A few questions for 620 owners...
About to spring for a 620, but have a few quuestions for 620 owners:
1. How tall are you and how much do you weigh? (I'm 6'2", 34" inseam, 215lbs.)
2. Related to the above, if you're my height, which screen did you settle on for the least wind noise and buffeting?
3. What's your rpm at 80mph, stock ...
